Katie Lavin Lechowski
Hello Everyone! My name is Katie Lavin Lechowski. I began my career as a 6th - 8th grade Math and Science teacher at Frances Xavier Warde in Chicago. After five years, I moved to Mark Sheridan Math and Science Academy. MSA is a CPS school on the near south side of Chicago. My first two years at MSA were as a 6th - 8th grade Science teacher. During my third year I transitioned to the Technology Coordinator role and have been there ever since!
I wear many hats at Mark Sheridan and wouldn't have it any other way. First and foremost, I teach Technology to all the kindergarten through eighth grade students at MSA. I work on all things hardware and/or software related: purchasing, updating, repairing, etc. I do my best to keep MSA's social media presence up to date from The Sheridan Scoop (our weekly student led news broadcast), to our website, Twitter account, and YouTube account. Last, but certainly not least, I work with all members of our staff to help them with their "Personalized Tech PD." |
I'm planning to use this blog to share my Tech Tips, Tricks, and Tools!
